What this site is

Conway SC Plumber Guide is an independent directory covering 33 plumbing businesses that serve Conway, South Carolina and the surrounding area. It exists for one straightforward reason: people searching for a plumber usually have a leak, a clog, or a water heater problem in front of them and no easy way to compare who’s actually reliable. We pull together public business information and recent Google review activity for each company so you can see how they stack up before you pick up the phone.

This is also, plainly, a site that helps connect homeowners with providers. When you use our quote request tool and ask to be matched, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for that introduction. That arrangement is disclosed again on the quote page itself. It has no bearing on how any business is scored or ranked here. Those two functions, the directory and the enquiry matching, are kept deliberately separate.

Where the data comes from

Each listing is built from public business records (things like address, licensing status where available, service categories, and hours) combined with a synthesis of recent Google review activity. We do not copy or republish review text. Instead, we summarize patterns in sentiment and volume, and we link directly to each business’s Google listing so you can read the original reviews yourself and form your own view.

How rankings work

Rankings come entirely from a published rubric applied to the data we collect, things like review volume, sentiment trends, responsiveness signals, and consistency over time. There’s no manual thumb on the scale and no way to buy a better position. The full scoring criteria are laid out on our /methodology/ page, so anyone can check how a given score was reached.

A business that finds incorrect details in its own listing, a wrong phone number, an outdated address, a missing service, can request a correction, and we will fix factual errors. What a business cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or its rank. Those stay tied to the data and the rubric, not to who’s asking.

Sponsorship, if present

Some pages may include a sponsored placement. It’s always labeled “Sponsored,” always displayed separately from the earned rankings, and never mixed into the ranked list itself. A sponsorship fee changes visibility, not merit, and it never alters a business’s score or its position in the rubric-based ranking.

Who’s behind the scoring

Diego Marsh, Head of Research, maintains the ranking rubric and oversees how it’s applied across listings. Questions about methodology or a specific score can be traced back to that published process rather than to an unstated internal judgment call.

Getting in touch

If you spot a factual error on a listing, or you run one of the 33 businesses covered here and want to flag outdated details, corrections are welcome. Scores, sentiment, and rank, however, stay governed strictly by the data and the rubric described at /methodology/.
